The House of Charles and Diana is now in its 15th successful year. Originally named after proprietor Julia Church's son and daughter Julia and her staff offer a friendly and relaxed, yet professional service.

A wedding is rather like a large theatrical production but without the rehershal! We aim to advise you and to point you in the right direction, wedding gown, hairdressers, florists, photography and video and even to the mother of the bride outfits.

We stock well over 100 Wedding Gowns, with sizes ranging from 8 to 30 plus, all by several well known and also popular designers such as Ben Roberts, Bobbie Louise, Sposa Bella, Nicola Anne Bridesmaids including Augusta Jones Eternity, Olive and Orchard, to name just a few. You should therefore have no difficulty in finding a gown which will make you feel special for your wedding. And also, we cater for a broad price range too, with gowns costing from just £50 to over £1000. Weddings are an expensive time, so to help you with your budget we have a whole floor dedicated to Sale Bridal and Bridesmaids gown, including a range of Shoes, Veils and garters at massively reduced prices.

However, it really is not true that you would have to spend a fortune to look fantastic on your wedding day. All of our brides look just wonderful in their gowns! But, if you have a certain design in mind, or maybe you've seen a picture of a costume in a magazine, and you liked it, no problem - we'll do our very best to locate such a design for you. All we ask you is to be flexible, allowing us to guide you.

DAO COUTURE
Each one of Dao’s creations is a unique combination of her own expertise directed by her client’s desires and imagination. Dao’s special craft is the fruition of a life-long love affair with silk fabrics.
Clients visit Dao in her studio or she will meet you in your own home. She will work to your own concepts after discussing the dress-style and image you are looking for. Some clients know exactly what they want. Other ideas come from discussions over coffee and a pile of magazines.

Dao will sketch the design and adjust it to your satisfaction. Next, she cuts the pattern and makes a rough version of the garment in plain calico so you can see what the finished item will look like. There will be at least two further fittings before you take delivery of the dress.

There is no charge for consultations. Final price depends on the style and complexity of the design. Fabrics are charged at cost.

With over 50 designer sample gowns to choose from, Emma Tindley Couture is a must to visit for any bride-to-be.

This exquisite bridalwear shop in East Grinstead caters for every requirement a bride-to-be has, from bespoke wedding dresses to tiaras. As a London trained florist, Emma is also able to provide all your wedding flower requirements.

Set in the historic town of East Grinstead, West Sussex, Emma prides herself on providing a friendly and relaxed atmosphere in which to chose the most important dress of your life. Customers come from all over the South East - from Tunbridge Wells, Crawley, Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill, Crowborough, Uckfield, London and even as far afield as Perth Asutralia.

The experience should be relaxed, so we advise starting your search for your perfect wedding dress around 18 months to 1 year before your big day - this will allow plenty of time for matching wedding accessories and fittings, which will be taken care of by our experienced seemstress.
